I’m Christian. I sang in the church choir for 19 years! Where do you think I got the first six notes for “We’re Not Gonna Take It From”?
Can I give you an honorable mention anyway, just for sheer awesomeness?
Hells yeahs! I loved my Nana!
Warren Zevon’s father was Jewish, but his mother was a Mormon, and he himself was a Christian. Note the cross he’s wearing throughout the VH1 special, “Keep Me In Your Heart,” which was filmed when he was dying.
Fair enough. But Warren falls under the Dee Snider rule: 50% Jewish, 100% awesome. As opposed, for example, to Kenny G, who’s 100% Jewish, 0% awesome.
